Definition

From the Wikipedia article for club:

A club is an association=* of two or more people united by a common interest or goal. A service club, for example, exists for voluntary or charitable activities; there are clubs devoted to hobbies and sports, social activities clubs, political and religious clubs, and so forth.

This table is a wiki template with a default description in English. Editable here.

The base of the club can be tagged amenity=community_centre with the type community_centre=club_home and possibly the target group community_centre:for=*; either on the containing building or the same element as the club itself.

Remember to add the website=* to the club.

Generic values

club=* can stand on its own just like shop=*/office=*/craft=*. If you find no suitable club=* tag add one or use club=yes.

The tag leisure=club and amenity=club is considered deprecated and should not be used anymore.

Possible Tagging Mistakes

Replace with a club=*. If it already has one you can remove the amenity=club Tag. That is usually enough (works like shop=*).
